What is Bodywork?

Massage bodywork refers to a therapeutic approach that involves manipulating the soft tissues of the body, including the muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia, to improve overall physical health and well-being. Massage therapists use their hands, fingers, elbows, and sometimes even feet to apply pressure to different areas of the body, with the goal of reducing tension, easing pain, and increasing circulation. There are many different types of massage bodywork, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, hot stone massage, and Thai massage, among others. Each type of massage has its own unique techniques and benefits, and the choice of which type to receive often depends on the individual’s specific needs and preferences.
